How Can You Help?
Agricultural Animals: *Talk to your local grocery store about getting food that is more humanely made. *Purchase less food that was from a factory farm. *Educate yourself and others about factory farms and their treatment of animals. *Sign a petition to stop factory farms. *Look at vegetarian and vegan eating options. *Donate to help stop factory farming. Domesticated Animals: *Adopt animals from a shelter rather than buying from a puppy mill or breeder. *Know what to expect when you get a pet. *Volunteer at a local animal shelter. |

*Donate food, animal toys, blankets, or treats to your local shelter.
*If you see animal cruelty, report it.
*Spay and neuter you pets.
*Join the ASPCA Advocacy Brigade.
Wild Animals:
*Make your outdoor cat an indoor cat (to preserve bird and small animal populations).
*Plant a tree, or leave a dead one standing up.
*Adopt an animal or donate to help save endangered species.
*Do not throw food out of your car while driving (wildlife are attracted to it and are likely to get hit by a car).
*Reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as possible
*Cap your chimney to prevent toxic fumes from leaving and birds from falling in.
*Throw your garbage in a trashcan.
*Leave nature and animals the way/where you found them.
